InTec has participated in recent advisory board
meeting in Uzbekistan where the aspects of HCV elimination programmes were
discussed among global stakeholders including WHO, US CDC, Ministry of health
in Uzbekistan, international key opinion leaders.
The event was organised by GPro, who is negotiating
affordable medicine and diagnostics for this ambitious project.
Amount of funds committed in form of Pilot program will be $1
million USD.
Details of the project includes, 250,000 HCV patients in
2019. In addition, 250,000 will be screened for HBV, with confirmatory testing
and additional tests as necessary for treatment prescription.
